SPRIHA is managed by a Board of Advisors which comprises of individuals from diverse background and expertise. The body is formed for a period of one year and a few independent members with eminence and reputation are nominated each year. Members of this board meet once every quarter. The Board of Advisors advises the Trustees of SPRIHA, taking inputs from the Executive Committee.
“SPRIHA is founded by its ‘Chief Functionary’ Pankaj Dubey along with some other friends. Pankaj has been a journalist with the BBC World Service, London and TV Today Network, India. This Law graduate from Delhi University has also a Masters in Applied Communications from the Coventry University, England. With an idea and motivation to utilise his education and experience in media and communication Pankaj took up the cause of ‘EMPATHY BUILDING’ in children irrespective of their social and economic background. He has designed and actualised India’s first travelling street film festival for children in slums and villages by the name of ‘Sadak Chhap Film Fest’ to reach out to the children with limited means.”
- Spriha Srivastava- 'International Facilitator, Strategy,Planning, Fund Raising'. Spriha is a broadcast journalist with a TV channel in London and a freelancer with Asian Voice, a local newspaper for the British-Asian community and other media portals. With a double Masters in Political Science from JNU, India and in International Journalism from City University, London, Spriha shares the experience of two varied nationalities. She has done several projects on street children and those children living inside the tihar prison. She is a regular blogger and through her website www.tongueonfire.com, voices her opinions on various issues of political and social interest.
- Shivendra Nath- Coordinator, Jharkhand- Shivendra coordinates all the SPRIHA initiatives in Jharkhand. With an experience of 20 years in the ‘Development Sector’ Shivendra has devoted his life for the upliftment of deplorable plight of children in the tribal belts of Jharkhand.
- Dinesh Dubey-Co,ordinator Maharashtra- Dinesh has a substantial experience in Development Communication.He has extensively worked for a wide range of social initiatives in the ‘Dharavi’ slums of Mumbai.
- Kasturi Sengupta- Co,Ordinator, Karnataka- Bangaluru based Kasturi has been associated with SPRIHA since its inception. A theatre enthusiast who has contributed her creative abilities in designing the concept “Kahaani on Wheels’ for SPRIHA.
- Kuldeep Bharadwaj- Co-ordinator, Bihar- Kuldeep is a media professional by profession and social activist by passion. He coordinates SPRIHA initiatives in Bihar.
Members of “Executive Committee” :
Shradha Singh: Co-founder of SPRIHA. Documentary Film Making is Shradha’s way of expressing her social concerns. She is also a Radio Jockey by profession.
Dr.Sangita Singh: Dr. Sangita Singh is an ‘Edupreneur’. She runs a play school for children.
Neeraj Dubey: Another co-founder of SPRIHA is a Corporate Lawyer. A prolific writer and researcher, Neeraj has keen interest in social activities.
Sushmita Srivastava: Sushmita is a banker by profession and specializes in the field of agro-financing.
Namita Prakash: Namita has a Masters in Sociology from JNU and SOAS, London. She has worked extensively for ‘Education and Children’.
Aprajita Shishoo: A former journalist and now a socio - political analyst Aparajita is also an active street theatre artist.
Rajeev S. Sharma: A journalist by profession and an environmentalist by passion, Rajeev has been a social activist since a decade.
Sanjay Singh: An expert in finance Sanjay has been working in the field of Waste management. Philanthropy is something very close to his heart.
Dr Abhishek Upadhyay: Abhishek is a doctor by profession. His areas of interest are Health awareness and developing communication modules to spread the same concern amongst underprivileged.
Kumar Saurabh: A passionate photographer Saurabh is a traveler working in the area of sustainable development and eco tourism.
Amit Dubey: Amit is a visualizer and an artist working in the area of constantly innovating new ideas.
Rohit Kumar Sinha: Rohit is Finance Consultant with SPRIHA. His background in Commerce and concern for the organisation synergises well in whatever finance and accounting responsibilities he undertakes.
Ritesh Kumar- An IIT graduate, he spearheads the logistics and implementation of Sadak Chhaap Film Film Festival in Delhi and NCR
